Editorial Policy

How we stay independent and keep our reviews honest.

This policy explains how IPTVForum produces its reviews and rankings, and the rules we hold ourselves to. It exists so you — and search engines — can see exactly where our incentives lie.

Independence comes first

No provider can pay to appear in our rankings, to raise its score, or to be labelled a "Best Choice". Rankings are determined solely by our testing and scoring methodology. We have turned down paid-placement offers, and we always will.

How affiliate links fit in

Some links on this site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission when you sign up through them — at no extra cost to you. The decision about where a service ranks is made before any commercial relationship is considered, and changing a ranking to chase commission is a firing-level breach of this policy. Full details are in our affiliate disclosure.

Accuracy and fact-checking

Channel counts, prices and features are taken from our own hands-on testing and the provider's live checkout at the time of review, not from marketing copy. Because IPTV services change often, every review is date-stamped and re-tested when pricing, servers or reader reports indicate a change.

Corrections

We get things wrong sometimes, and when we do we fix them openly. If you spot an error — an out-of-date price, a feature that's changed, a service that has declined — please tell us via our contact page. Substantive corrections are updated promptly and the review's "last updated" date is refreshed.

Our relationship with providers

We test anonymously and do not give providers advance notice or copy approval. A provider may dispute a review, but they cannot edit it. Our loyalty is to the reader, full stop.
